Art Courses Cotswolds - Gloucestershire - Oxfordshire
So many people say they wish they could paint. Well, there is every chance they can - as with any other skill, good tuition coupled with a certain amount of practice will yield results, and we see this for ourselves time and time again in the Coach House under Davina (Mini) Owen's gentle and encouraging style of teaching To persuade yourself why not try a Taster Day or get a group of friends together just to surprise yourself. Let 2019 be the year...

Summer Days in Glorious Gardens
We have been invited to two of the most stunning gardens this year. Each day will run from 10.00am - 3.30pm. Easels, coffee and biscuits will be provided but please bring a sandwich for lunch and a hat. Numbers will be limited to eight, so please book early. Payment in full will secure your place. If the weather is against us we will revert to The Coach House.
Daglingworth House - Wednesday 17th July - £80.00
Our first day out will be on Wednesday July 17th visiting the stunning garden at Daglingworth House, the home of serious garden makers, David and Etta Howard who have been creating the garden since 1994.
It is such a treat to be able to spend a day painting in this classical two-acre garden - you will be spoilt for choice as to your choice of subject or vista, be it the walled garden, temple and grotto, and classic pools. There are numerous views with humorous contemporary twists, hedges, topiary shapes, herbaceous borders, whilst water has been used to the best possible effect with a cascade and a stilted hornbeam edging a long reflective mirror canal.
Stowell Park - Tuesday 6th August - £80.00
The iconic garden at Stowell Park is a feast for the senses. On this day you will have the run of the magnificent walled garden with its abundance of fruit, vegetables and burgeoning borders of cutting flowers. An incredibly long pergola hosts a huge collection of old-fashioned roses and the beautiful timeless greenhouses are home to vines, peaches, alpines and orchids. We challenge you to choose a place to set up your easel...

A refresher for those of you missing your paintbrushes over the long summer holiday.
Art Taster Days
Life Drawing Day TBC
These are very successful days - everyone gains a huge amount - learning to draw what you see, rather than what you think you see.
Last year we had some wonderful days painting in gardens.
